This position has a variety of roles that will keep the company running smoothly and efficiently (the organizational hero in our office of turtles). The role of a marketing assistant is for those that are not afraid to tackle anything and who thrive in an environment where each day is different from the next. Ideal candidates will have strengths in problem solving, organization, and be very comfortable with computers as well as the internet. Personality traits like being caring, thoughtful, conscientious, responsible, and trustworthy are a must (and those who love turtles, of course, we are not monsters).
Example tasks include, but not limited to:
Office Assistant: Owning office tasks, keeping office supplies in stock, confirming meetings with clients, washing and gassing the company car, making bank deposits, helping in the hiring process, and getting lunch for meetings.
Marketing Assistant: Attending marketing seminars, bringing back executive summaries, helping roll out new initiatives, setting up new client accounts, client on-boarding, advertising assistant, social media, and much more.
Receptionist: Answering phones, processing mail, greeting guests, prepping conference rooms, and asset organization.
